We are glad you are here and want to welcome you! Normandy Church is a United Methodist congregation, faithfully striving to share life together with God and others as we give of ourselves in service.
We have a traditional worship service which features: a variety of music, liturgy, scripture, prayer, a spoken message, and the use of media. Our worship is approximately an hour. You are welcome to come as you are.
Coffee is available in the lobby outside the sanctuary – yes, you are welcome to bring it into the sanctuary.
We invite you to join us on the 2nd Sunday of the month for “Get to Know Normandy.” During this brief gathering, you’ll learn a little about Normandy Church, what we believe, how you can get connected, and get answers to any questions you might have. Meet Pastor Mark in the front of the sanctuary following worship, for this 10-20 minute gathering.
We provide several options to worship virtually online. Sunday morning worship is live on both Facebook and YouTube. Our worship is also broadcast several times during the week. Sorry – you have to provide your own coffee.

Our nurturing childcare staff welcomes littles from 9:45-11:15am. We are learning that “Jesus is our friend." Nursery care is provided by our paid childcare staff.
Kids Connection is held every Sunday at 10:00am. The kids come into worship for a “Normandy Kids Moment” and then go and have their own time learning about God’s love for them through worship, Bible stories, games, and crafts.
Normandy United Methodist Church has always been a place for the family to gather – literally. The original part of the Normandy Church building, referred to as “The Manson” was built by the Grant family to be their home and was completed in 1930. Many of the home’s features were imported from Europe and include marble fireplaces, hand-crafted wood panels and doors, and stained glass windows dating back to the 1600’s. This part of the building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
In 1955, “The Mansion” was sold/gifted by the Grants so that the Normandy Church might be formed. Worship services were originally held in the Grant’s living room, which currently is the chapel. In 1963, an addition to the home was constructed that housed a sanctuary, education space, and a kitchen. Today this sanctuary space is now Fellowship Hall. Our present-day sanctuary was constructed in 1997.
From the Grant family to the Normandy Church family, the facility has been linking people together to build relationships with God and one another.
Q: How long does the worship service last?
A: Worship services typically last around an hour.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress comfortably for you. There will be people wearing jeans while others wear suits and dresses. We want you to come as you are.
Q: What door should I use?
A: On Sunday morings, you will want to use the door with the canopy marked "Worship Center." Greeters will be there to provide any guidance you may need once inside.
Q: Do I have to give any money/offering?
A: NO! In fact, until someone decides to become a part of the Normandy family, we just want you to worship, enjoy the music, and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. When we take up an offering, simply let the plate pass.
Q: What about my kids?
A: Kids of all ages are more than welcome to stay with you in worship; we are a church family. If you choose, Normandy Kids meet from 9:45 until after worship. A nursery, with professional childcare providers, is also provided for your littlest ones.
Q: Am I allowed to take communion?
A: YES! The United Methodist Church celebrates an open table, meaning all are welcome to partake in communion. It is the Lord’s Table, and the Lord’s invitation. We celebrate communion on the 1st Sunday of each month.
