This year we are gathering items individually over several months in hopes of increasing the number of shoeboxes we can deliver. Copies of suggested items for children of varying ages are available on the Missions table. Items are separated by boy/girl and by age. Keep the list with you, and while you are out and about and see small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, etc. on sale, why not pick up an extra or two and bring them to church to go in the green Christmas tubs in the Welcome Center and Reception Office areas. We will have one big packing party later in the fall where the whole family can join in the fun of spreading cheer. If you prefer to fill a box on your own – go right ahead! We know that some families make it a special time together choosing gifts. Cash donations are welcomed also and enable us to purchase bulk items, and cover shipping costs.
