Food2Go

As we all share the excitement that a new school year brings, it also brings the realization that some kids in the Centerville City Schools face a lack of food at home on weekends when they are not at school to receive meals under the free or reduced meal programs. Food2Go, under the leadership of Living Hope Church, has tried to fill that gap. Normandy Church has supported this effort since its beginning in 2008. We will be ramping up to serve approximately 150 students each week. Normandy has committed to providing canned vegetables and pudding snacks for the coming school year. Our budget for the school year will be approximately $5,400. We fund the Normandy donation through the Outreach budget, as well as generous donations from UMW, UMM, LOUD Sunday, VBS and other activities within the church.
