At Normandy United Methodist Church, we believe that service to others is a very important part of anyone’s faith journey. While many in our congregation and in our denomination serve directly in our community and other parts of the world, many of us are privileged to support these efforts financially when we ourselves are not able to serve directly. Those of us who give are, in turn, given the opportunity to feel that we too have contributed to the labor and the effort that helps change the world. So we invite you to give as well…to give to change the world.
To participate in this campaign, you may stop by the Choose-A-Gift board in the hallway near the Nursery and pick up an envelope for the program you wish to support. After placing your contribution inside the envelope, you may place it in the offering plate during Sunday morning worship services or mail it in to the church office. You may also mail your check to Normandy with the project of your choice in the memo line.
During 2018, the Give to Change the World campaign focuses on these three projects:
Vacation Bible School (Goal of $4,400)
Contributions will be used to fund Normandy’s annual Vacation Bible School in June. This is an opportunity to help change the lives of children by allowing them to experience the joy of Christian teaching through music, games, and fun. Contributions are needed by the middle of June.

United Methodist Church Mission Support (Goal of $10,600)
The United Methodist Church sponsors missionaries, relief efforts, and other initiatives around the world. Each year, member churches are asked to support this effort by contributing a portion of our offerings to our church conference. By contributing, you will help support these very worthy efforts to change the lives of many around the world. Contributions are requested throughout the year.

Belize Medical Mission Trip (Goal of $5,000)
Normandy United Methodist Church supports a mission trip organized by members of our church. Participants in this mission trip perform surgeries, distribute needed medications, and offer other medical services to children and adults. A project team also helps in the construction on homes and other buildings. Contributions are requested in the Fall prior to mission trip planning.
